Road Rage Incident Leads To Fight In Middle Of Southeast PA Street: Police

Two men were found fighting in the middle of a Bucks County street following a road rage incident, police announced on Wednesday, Nov. 13.

James Fetscher, 78, of Warminster, and Neil Maurer, no age listed, of Horsham, fought in the center of the road in the 800 block of Easton Road at 12:25 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 8, the Warrington Township Police Department said.

An officer who was patrolling in the area saw Fetscher and Maurer fighting, according to police. Officers had to break up the fight.

An investigation revealed that the two men participated in a road rage incident that began in the area of the Warrington Shopping Center and continued south on Easton Road, police said. Fetscher and Maurer eventually exited their vehicles and began to fight in the middle of the road.

Both men were issued citations for harassment, according to police.

Fetscher was issued a non-traffic summary charge for Harassment - Subject Other to Physical Contact, according to court documents. No court records for Maurer's charges could be found at press time.
